Industry of France

France has used a major industry - mining, which produces coal, salt, iron, uranium and potassium. The coal industry in 2005 was completely reversed: the majority of the mines now ceased its work. Currently, there is a problem of management of this transformation: according to tax records, mining of up to 30% poorer than others.

On the other hand, in France there are a variety of manufacturing industries: the most important sector - machinery and transport material (cars), followed by food products in connection with the extensive agricultural production. In 1999, the industrial activities to profit from the reduction in euros and sales growth of intermediary goods and equipment. The dynamism and the high competitiveness of aeronautic, automotive and food industries contributed surplus balance of trade.

In the period from April 2000 to April 2001, a group of Air France has 4,500 new people, date, equivalent to 7% of their total staff. The effect of a 35-hour working week reduced the growth of the company, a rule establishing the aircraft more than 80%. For Airbus was excellent in 2000, with total sales of 496 aircraft and 50 orders for A 380. And 2001 was rezultatnym to build large aircraft. Sellers managed to sell 50 Airbus aircraft in less than 6 months in the first six clients.

The booming economy has allowed the full benefit in the construction and the automotive industry: the first six months of 2000 in France was sold 2.3 million vehicles, a new record. In construction and public works job increased by 32%, the sector made a profit in the period (municipal elections in 2001), which is always important in public works. All actions in this area have led to significant growth. Housing helped depreciation allowances, low interest rates, improving employment situation and catch up with the phenomenon.

Upgrading works profitably because of the reduction in VAT. Production of textile and garment industry has declined. The abundance and migration continues. Large-scale distribution of groups suffered less, with a strong consumer demand, they have diversified their sources of extra to get a more favorable price. In the large supermarkets also recorded an increase, mainly because sales are not foods. Large stores were the main beneficiaries in returning to a state of prosperity. Popular Stores are increasing, they were able to reduce the quality of the goods from their activities.
