Natural Attractions of France

Extraordinary diversity of landscape is represented by high peaks of the Alps and the Pyrenees, medium French Massif Central mountains, Ardenne, Vosges and Jura, as well as numerous depressions and low hills (the Paris Basin, Channel Upland, Lorraine plateau, lowland rivers of the Loire, and Garonskaya Alsatian Plain, etc. ).
In the north-west of the country is Normandy with soft green hilly countryside and landscapes with steep Brittany coastline. In the north east are plains of Alsace and Lorraine, south of which are located along the border of the Jura mountains of medium, followed by the Alps - a favorite area for climbers and winter sports enthusiasts, extending to the Côte d'Azur. In the central part of France is the Loire Valley, which lies south of the Central massif, characterized by giant cones of extinct volcanoes of Auvergne, contrasting with the flat hills, plateaus and deep river valleys Perigora and Limousin.
In the south, are the Pyrenees, the highest point - the peak D'Estats (3145m).
